- ★ NO! After seeing the Jockey Underwear upon arrival, I saw how bad the material, used on the Jockey Underwear was. It was easy to see through both packages, of the Jockey Underwear. Also, the waist band around the 2 packages of Jockey Underwear, were unbelievably, so thin. The waist bands, were like a piece of string, that was visible enough, to see how horrible, the waist bands were, on all the Jockey Underwear, in both packages. The two packages of Jockey Underwear, I received, are not as nice, as what I had received before. That time, I received the usual looking Jockey waist bands & material, that were right! This time the Jockey Underwear was not right! Like before. So, I am returning both unopened packages back. Very Disappointed! No star is deserved this time! I am hurt, it was so bad! Not even worth 1 star. But, was required to post at least 1 star on! · source
- ★★★ I received this underwear a month ago. I love many things about them. They fit well. They are very comfortable. The fabric is soft and seemingly of good quality. The colors are pretty. My big complaint about this underwear, and why I am giving them a low rating is that in this short time, threads are hanging all over every pair and the waistband is coming apart on one of the pairs. I have probably worn them and washed them three times in this amount of time. While the fabric and style are great, the workmanship seems to be terrible. I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy new underwear in a few months now, at the rate this is going. And these were not inexpensive. I have bought Jockey women's underwear on and off for years, and this is the first time I've had this kind of problem. I will hesitate before buying them again now. · source

- ★★ I own a gazillion pairs of Jockey underwear; these were my first tries at Jockey cotton underwear and I am definitely underwhelmed. Suffice to say, these will be my last tries at Jockey cotton underwear. The waistband is scratchy, the fabric isn't very soft, there is inadequate rear coverage, and the back crotch seam is uncomfortable. So. I'm only glad that I didn't buy more than the 3 pairs that I did buy. I should've washed just one pair and tried it; instead, I removed the tags on all 3 and washed them, so I cannot return the 2 unworn pairs. Alas. This was not my cup of tea, needless to say. I'll look at other brands of women's cotton underwear. Thank you. · source
Knix · Absorbency leak protection — 20% of reviewers complain (n=186)
- ★★★★ Just be aware, they don't have full leak coverage in the front. Tips: - What I do is I wear 1 backwards in the day and 1 the regular way at night. - If need, I also attach a thin liner pad at the edge of where the coverage ends. - If I want them to last a full day/night, I use liner pads with the period panties during the day to dispose of the pads before bed without needing to change until morning - I also highly recommend a portable mini washing machine! Don't listen to the reviews on those. People try to use them for all types of laundry. Don't. Just use them specifically for your period panties. To use: squeeze blood out in shower with your feet & then wash in mini machine with detergent. Use only cold water to not adhere blood to fibers · source
- ★★★★ I enjoy the fabric quality, but these are meant to be a backup to protect from leakage seeping into your pants. It is NOT one to free bleed into unless it is a very light day. I also don’t dare wear them if I’m heavy even when paired with a tampon or cup. This is for my last day only but are lightweight and comfy to sleep in too. I can wear them comfortably around the house, but if I am going to workout, I take them off because the pad portion isn’t as flexible and following the body as I would have liked. If you are looking for thick protection, this pair might not be for you. But if you want just a lightweight backup that isn’t tight on you, you can give it a try if it’s within the budget. · source
Jockey · Fit sizing — 11% of reviewers complain (n=353)
- ★★★ These are NOT the cotton version. I thought I was buying the cotton ones and these had a reduced price so I grabbed them up. I tried them on over my own panties and they seemed to fit but what I didn't know was that the elastic was tighter and the overall fit was on the small side of the size 8 I bought. I would return them but I have worn one pair for a few hours to see if they would be comfortable. Unfortunately not comfortable to me. One of the things you need to watch for is the product description changes depending on the color and search you're doing. I have pulled up the solid black cotton Jockey underwear that I'm used to buying and was scanning through the different colors when I saw this purple set. This set was on sale for about half the regular price around $11.99 for 3 pairs. It's my fault because I got excited about the price drop and hit the buy now button before I realized they were not what I wanted. So buyer beware... Read everything carefully! · source

- ★★★ I first purchased this style panty briefs 25 years ago under the brand name JMS (Just My Size). I loved the JMS panty proportions, soft cotton, thickness, quality, and wonderful stretch provided by 5-10% spandex, thus inducing "happy cheeks" (decreased creeping or "wedgies"). Of course (with all good things) they were eventually discontinued by JMS. For years, I scoured stores in search of replacements. Trials with several other brands always brought frustration, disappointment, and loss of money. Finally, the advent of modern technology allowed a long exhaustive internet search where I discovered a vendor carrying the same/similar product - now listed under the BALI name. They were very similar, felt pretty good, and were priced well, so naturally I stocked up on a good thing. Well, thank goodness I did, because as you may have guessed, finding them was impossible as they, too became obsolete. Just this year I have spent well over $100 in an effort to find cotton stretch full brief panties that fit well and were comfortable... to no avail. I spied the name BALI on AMAZON, and was thrilled to see panties offered in a full brief yielding 10% spandex stretch and available in an XXXL size. They looked just like my old style, unfortunately the price for ONE was what I had once paid for a package of three. In my trepidation, I purchased 4 pairs (2 beige/2 black) in size XXXL (my regular clothing size). I thought it unusual that the sizing/dimensions for each color differed, but nonetheless thought I'd take a chance. Upon first inspection of the panties, I thought they looked and felt a bit thin and flimsy. I WAS however pleased to see that the width/size of the crotch was nicely proportioned (adequate for adherence of a pad/liner, yet not too wide or bulky). I excitedly tried on a pair. Unfortunate for me, I found their XXXL too small and although having "squeezed" into them, I found them lacking enough stretch to allow a comfortable fit (sans laundering/shrinkage). Had they been more generously sized and/or available in a 4XL, I think I could have made them work. For this price point, I feel the fabric is rather thin - and I also feel that the sizing is "off" (akin to "Asian sizing" - small when compared to US standards). I am disappointed with this purchase. · source
- ★★ These panties are exactly what I was looking for--100% stretch cotton with a cotton gusset in the crotch. The only problem (and it's a big one) is that they are so long they extend halfway up my chest between my navel and chest. (They do NOT fit they way the ones in the picture fit the model.) I was looking for a panty that came to--or just below the navel. I've emailed both the seller and the manufacturer. Neither has responded to me and it has been close to 2 months since I emailed them, so they've had plenty of time to do so. I really like the way Hanes/Bali fit in terms of coverage, the leg holes not creeping up to cause a wedgie, comfort, smoothness under clothing and the quality/durability of the product. Things I dislike are that I can't get this panty in a more appropriate body length or in nude or beige unless I buy a multi-pack, which only comes in either white of a variety of colors that include nude, pink and black. I don't want the other colors--just nude or beige and Hanes just doesn't offer them. Since I've written to them and the seller to find out if there's an alternative that might be more fitting of my needs with no response from either, I guess I'll just have to find another brand that does offer what I'm looking for. So--bottom line, if you're looking for cotton underpants that come nearly up to your boobs, these are the ones for you. If you're looking for something with a more normal fit, don't waste your time or money--especially since neither the seller nor the manufacturer will even bother to respond to your questions. It's a shame because they are otherwise incredibly comfortable. · source

- ★ June 2025 UPDATE: Once again I ordered 2 pair of the underwear, and my reviews below haven’t changed. I had high hopes as when I finally put a pair on the material did feel a little thicker and of good quality. However, the elastic in one leg was larger than the other, and within a few hours it began the dreaded riding up the rear end. I’ve given this company so many chances to produce a quality product, and it continues to disappoint. I’m now definitely convinced these are factory rejects. Aug 2024 UPDATE: I purchased 2 pairs hoping the quality may have improved. When putting on the 1st pair one leg opening was larger than the other. This created the dreaded sliding up the rear-end on one side. Why this manufacture can’t create a decent pair of underwear is beyond me! I feel like we’re buying 2nds (items with a defect) from these sellers. So once again I’ll get out the needle a thread and sew a little tuck to tighten the one side. Haven’t tried on the pair yet.. but not having high hopes. 😡 Dec 2022 UPDATE: I still had a new pair from my purchase months ago. Don’t know why I thought they might be different. Don’t believe these positive reviews, it’s unbelievable how some sellers can sell a horrible product yet have raving reviews. Please don’t waste your money! Feb 2022 UPDATE: Decided to give this product another try and purchased two (2) more pair. NOPE! Still terrible, just put them on and I leg is comfortable, the other leg is about 3 sizes larger.. Same with second pair. Oh well only wasted $10.00 for both. Pay the extra and buy from outside vendors. 1st time purchased: I’m finally trying out my new Bali briefs. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the standards ones purchased from a local supplier. Size was spot on, the material felt a little different, yet still soft & comfortable. After wearing these for less than 3 hours on day one, the legs started creeping up the behind (I despise this). It usually doesn’t happens until after @ 4 months usage. Than the waist band started twisting & rolling down and looked very stretched out. Mind you these weren’t a tight fit and I had plenty of room. I really can’t believe after a 1/2 day of wearing, it looks like I had worn them for over 4 months. I was excited to find that I could purchase 2 pair of these for the price of one pair at the big box supplier. What a disappointment and waste of money! After hand washing once, I now see strings of rubbery material coming from the leg and waste band. · source

- ★★★★★ These are the absolute best underwear I have found. And trust me when I say I have been on a mission!! I have bought from Soma, Arie, VS, Warners, Bombas, and these. Hands down my new favorites! I would not have wasted a penny at Victorias Secret on Valentines day had my package arrived 1 day earlier! Lol. Instead, I purchased uncomfortable lacy things that made me feel pretty for a few hours in which I could not wait to get them off. I have worn the leakproof underwear and bralette all day today and I am absolutely flabbergasted! My husband was too!! They look and feel great. They might be "granny panties", but retro is totally in and I love how I look and feel about myself! My 23 year old would love this style too! I cannot wait to introduce her to the regular briefs. But now I have a problem..... I want a matching briefs and bralettes in every color!! Ugh!!! Please please please...make more color choices in matching sets! I will be keeping a close eye on what's ahead and dreaming you produce a rainbow of colors! · source
- ★★★★★ I've been searching for a long time to find a lingerie short that didn't hit right where my thigh meets my hip and that didn't roll or creep up. Found Bloomers and had to give the Pantyloons a try. Right when I saw the image I had a feeling I was going to love them b/c they are actual mid-thigh shorts length. I wore them for the first time today under a pair of pants that are lightweight material (sorta crepe material, that would pretty much show any under "thing" other than a thong which is not my jam). They felt luxurious going on, stayed in place, and felt so comfortable. And they looked great! They are mid-rise so hit at the perfect spot on my waist, not too low so my pooch is hanging over the band and not too high that they'd stick out of the pants waistband. I felt "covered" yet sexy and confident. They stayed in place and were comfortable all day. I really love them and highly recommend them! I'm 5'8 145 lb and ordered medium. · source
- ★★★★★ I absolutely love this bralette! I am a 34a and have worn bralettes for quite awhile. I am always on the hunt for a quality, sexy bralette - one that provides coverage without excess padding, adjustable straps, and no back fat! This collections meets all the requirements! I purchased it to match the Highness briefs and I was not disappointed. My only let down was I ordered too late, and had to wear some awful, uncomfortable lacy thing for Valentines day instead of this sexy number! I love the retro look and sexy feel! Please, Please, Please... make this in all of the colors the Tiara lace briefs come in! Its a very classy look, and the neutrals and pastels, although pretty, are just not as striking as I want them to be. I will be a close follower and watching in great anticipation for the rainbow of colors on the horizon! · source

- ★★★★ I ordered two pairs initally - one queen's lace and one cougar lace. I didn't notice that the cougar lace had just a little bit more stretch to them. I got both pairs and after the first wear and wash of the Queen's Lace pair, they ripped as I was putting them on for their 2nd wear. The customer service is EXCELLENT and within a day the issue was resolved.
The Cougar Lace are definitely more comfortable and better fitting for me with having the little bit more stretch, especially in the front where the undies meet my fat thighs.
These DO NOT ride up or move at all! Great fit is very important- usually if underwear ride or bunch it is because they don't fit right. When you take these out of their package, at first they look like granny panties but they definitely don't fit or look that way once you put them on. They should be snug, like they show on their models, but not tight or restrictive. There are no panty lines or cheek hanging over (I have a really big, low hanging butt). These give me just a tiny bit of shaping.
It is love - but I will not order Queen's Lace again- I'll just go with the Cougar Lace because I need the stretch and durability as my poor underwear have to make it over my very sizable thighs. · source

- ★★★★★ I'd wanted to give Bloomer's a try their marketing demographic target is towards the mature, older, 50's+ woman, and let's face it, that's a lot of us here. And oh my gosh, I finally found a bralette that is easy to put on, was sized for me correctly as advertised, and which fitted me very comfortably! In the past I have struggled to get into and out of bralette's and therefore have been hesitant to purchase many, but I think I'll be purchasing more of them now from Bloomer's in the future. Also, I did purchase a matching pantie for my bralette and it too was well fitting and flattering for me. · source

- ★★★★★ These are the best! No panty lines at all. They are not restrictive in any way - just super comfortable. I just purchased 3 more since finally discovering the one and only panty I can find that TRULY leaves no lines - a must for working in an office. The customer service I received was also top-notch. It was timely and Bailey was kind to expedite my exchange so I’d have them for my first day of a new job since I ordered the wrong size. They are also truly no-show which also surprised me. They come with their own washing bag and they seem to be form a small company that takes pride I every pair. I love how the Bloomers cut isn't made for a teenager, holds everything in, and looks seamless under clothing, but isn't unflattering like shapewear. These are a my new favorites, and I'm legitimately bummed when they are in the wash and not in my drawer. Since I'm definitely not going to do laundry every day, I guess I need to stock up. My dresses would not lay well with my old slipshorts although I tried with and without fabric softener as well as using an anti-static cling and my dresses would still snag on my old slipshorts I was constantly checking to make sure my dress wasn't hiked up in the back. I have bought Jockey women's underwear on and off for years, and this is the first time I've had this kind of problem. I will hesitate before buying them again now. · source
- ★★★★ These panties are light as air and extremely comfortable, for underwear, which normally rates around a minus ten for comfort. For comfort, I’d put these at a two, far above all others but still not 100% wonderful. However, the problem is the female shape more than the manufacturers’ decisions. Narrow waist and wide hips don’t make for a garment that will stay in place and not ride up. Having said that, these do loads better but don’t wash them in the machine without first putting them in a lingerie bag. I have had to remove stickers from the fabric, thousands, until finally—duh!—my husband said, how about a lingerie bag? Problem solved. But because of the price, I am slowly picking through and pulling out tens of thousands of tiny stickers. The price is outrageous.

· source
- ★ I’ve been buying this brand and style for years. These are not the same. I don’t know if they’re fakes, or if Bali has totally changed everything about their best selling underwear (which I doubt is the case, considering how long and how well these have been selling). That being said, these ran extremely small compared to normal. The material was not soft and silky it was a grainy, itchy almost… with very little stretch. I just went up to JC pennies and grabbed a couple pairs there and they are nothing even remotely like when I was sent from this Amazon seller. I’ve tried them and they are all exactly the same so it’s not like one of them was defective. This was a three pack, and all three were the same, which is awful. further, the band separated from the material at the waist on one pair within an hour of wearing them, and same happened on the leg of a second pair. I wouldn’t of returned them. Otherwise, I just would’ve probably never worn them because that’s just sort of how I roll… But I was so upset that not only are they seemingly , fake replica underwear, but they didn’t even stay together for a day. · source
Soma n=220
- ★★ I have loved the vanishing edge brief panty from Soma for years! What makes them so appealing is the stay put material that keeps the panty in place. I’d love the colors and the fact that they do update the colors periodically. These are my every day undergarments and most times special occasion undergarments. I waited to write this review because I purchased over $175 worth of just these panties 9 months ago. Full disclosure two of them were the tummy control. That’s a whole other story! As I began using the seven or eight vanishing edge panties to replace my old favorites that needed replacing I have to comment that the quality control of sizing is extremely poor. Some of the panties fit perfectly and are so comfortable others are shorter and don’t rise as high as some of the other briefs I purchased, and some of them are nearly too small to be worn comfortably. I’m not confident the materials are the same as when I first purchase these, but I’ve noticed some have runs in them and actually one has a hole. I am not quite sure at all how or even why that would be happening. And I wouldn’t call the tummy control vanishing edge briefs tummy control at all. I will say, however, that they do smooth that area well enough for my purposes. At $18 a pair, unless of course you can get.a really good sale price, these are hardly worth it anymore in my opinion sadly. I will be looking for other options. I gave two stars because maybe four out of the total pairs I purchased or received from the completed order via online are still my favorites. · source
- ★ I've been buying this brand (Vanishing Edge) for 10+ years and have absolutely loved them. They were the first 'no ride' underwear I've ever found and as an extra bonus were seamless. The first time I bought half regular fabric and half with lace trim. The lace trim didn't seem to hold up very well. My next purchase was just the regular fabric. They held up great! I even introduced my teen daughter to these and she loved them as much as I!! However, that last purchase didn't hold up as well as other reviewers have noted. The seams ripped on the outside leg part for almost all of my pairs rather quickly. The quality was definitely heading in a downhill direction. We both need new underwear now but after the reading the 'most recent' reviews for this underwear line I will not be purchasing. The quality seems horrible and the response from the company seems to be that they don't care. I wrote this review so that maybe they will think about caring that they are losing long term customers. I have spent hours searching for new underwear that will be compatible. Yuck...not how I want to spend my time...but I also don't want to be picking my underwear out of my crack because I can't buy this brand anymore. Hopefully, by the time I need more underwear after my next purchase, Soma will have addressed the quality issue many, many reviewers have brought to their attention. Hopefully, for Soma's sake, I don't find any underwear as good as the vanishing edge and move on fully from their company... · source
- ★ I have been buying these panties for years. Looking to boost my supply, I ordered 6 when they were on sale recently. I am very disappointed, to say the least. . These are not the same panties that they were a year or two ago. First, they are cut way smaller than they were. If you ordered a medium before, you better order a large. Second, the lace seems to be of a lesser quality and has way less ”give” than it did before. This results in the lace “rolling down” and ends up in a wad, like a band of elastic around your waist and you get a panty line. Also the same with the legs. The lace doesn’t give and it winds up squeezing your leg and giving you panties lines,( although that could just be a result of the sizing being so much smaller). Finally, the pantie fabric is thinner and not as soft as it used to be. It felt luxurious before. Now they just feel cheap. This latest batch I bought go to the bottom of my underwear pile as my least favorite panties to wear. Not sure I’m going to buy a bigger size. The quality just isn’t there (especially for $12 a pair!). VERY disappointed! · source
Thinx n=135
- ★★ I have had a few different pairs of Thinx panties, and these are my least favorite for a variety of reasons... First off, their sizing chart seems off... I usually wear a 2x (size 9 or 10 undies, 1x if they run large), but I had to figure out where I ran on theri chart!? The 2X waist size looked too small, but the hips are ample. They suggest if there is a question in sizing to go a size larger, even though I like my panties on the snug side, but I upped it to 3X, even though on the chart that's not much bigger than the 2x. I looked down the list and the 4x just doesn't make sense... the waist larger than the hips? And then the 5x... smaller hip measurements than the small size??? They sure didn't check this sizing chart very well, so I had to guess. Luckily they came and did fit correctly. Buying expensive underwear should not be this difficult!!! So now about coverage, and absorbability... I do have episodes of stress incontinence, on and off, depending on what happened, like did I sneeze, cough, laugh, stood up and had an urge to pee, etc. I find the padded area in the crotch is not very long in the front or back, relative to my larger size. Leaks in a seated position can travel higher up and escape above the area of the actual absorption area, and I have to admit that yes this happened to me after a doozy of a sneeze! In a standing position gravity cooperates better, but I think you can get a mental picture of what I am trying to describe, or perhaps you too have experience when even a minor amount can leak over the top of the pad, and thus onto your pants. So these panties kind of are defeated in my case. Also, the fit of the pretty lace area is a bit annoying. It doesn't stay up, as shown on the model on the ad page. The lace on these want to roll down to a hipster fit, and after fighting with it several times I just didn't even try to pull them or straighten them up anymore. They look nice, so I was hoping I would like them better. I hope they will last longer than 30 washes! I have had cheap cotton underwear that has lasted me for years! · source
- ★★★★ I have had some issues with mobility due to an injury which has left me struggling to walk with two canes as I recover. That means that sometimes bathroom trips don't happen as fast as I need to get there, so I wear these when I need extra help sometimes. HOW THESE COME These come in a plastic bag with an insert of instructions. FABRIC The fabric off these is a thin soft knit. It is synthetic which I am not fond of, but the inside is comfortable and protective. PADDING The padding is thick enough for good protection of leaks or light accidents, but not so bulky that it is annoying to wear. LACE I was concerned about the upper edge being lace, but it fits well and stays up nicely. CUT These are cut perfectly. I wear a size 14-16 misses US and this in 2XL is a great size fitting me perfectly. LONGEVITY My only issue with these is that they say on the insert that they are only good for 30 washings. That means that you will get a month or so out of them if you need to wash them often. That is not an awfully long time for the price. THE BOTTOM LINE These are superior to disposable pants, although they only last 30 washings which is not very long. MY RATING FOUR STARS. One star off for short lifespan, but I might be able to get longer out of them than indicated. I don't like synthetics so I won't wear these daily- only on days I need extra help. If I had to wear these constantly I might have issues as I do better with natural fibers long term. · source
- ★★ I don't personally have a need to use these regularly, but I'm in my late 60's and have had six children so I figured it will likely catch up to me at some point. When I saw that I had a chance to try these and give an opinion I figured why not? When they arrived I decided to test the claim of how much liquid they claim to absorb, the water just beaded up and ran off, of course the outer areas did get wet. I figured that they must have some sort of coating on them, and that I should wash them to see if that made them more absorbent in the proper area. While they were drying I decided to Google them, just wondered what experience others may have had with this product. Well I was quite surprised to read that this company had a lawsuit against them, they settled without admitting fault. The claims were that these are misrepresented in their products content materials. Please do your research before buying these and make an informed decision for yourself, and your health. My opinion is that these say good for 30 uses/washes not sure why that is, but these are crazy expensive to replace so frequently. They are pretty and I can see how that could be enticing. If ever I do need a product like this one, I think I'd prefer a disposable option, just my opinion, yours may be different. · source

- ★ I own 1 pair of Knix. I wore them a few times, then they got shoved to the back of my underwear drawer. Found them recently when I was packing for a trip. Wore them, liked the fit, washed them (as always, on delicate cycle with woolite, cool/cold wash, line dry). Put them on yesterday and went out with friends. Used the restroom - and they came completely apart on 1 side, only attached together at the top & bottom of 1 leg. I emailed the company. they told me I had owned them "past the lifecycle of the product" and basically they wouldn't stand behind them and replace it. At the price they are charging for these things, they should last a lifetime. Do not buy, they will fall apart. What a rip off. · source
- ★ AT first, there was some sort of plastic/rubber around the leg openings which adhered to the skin and kept the panties in place. But after the first wash, the plastic started to stretch out making the panties shift and bunch. NO, I didn't wash them in hot water or put them in the dryer. I washed them in cool to warm water and air dried them. After a couple of washes, the legs have no elasticity and they create a wedgie situation when worn. I ordered 2 other brands and have not had any problem with the other brands. KNIX was more expensive than the other brands as well. · source
- ★ There is no elastic in the waist, just raw cut waistline that falls off during walking. HOW EMBARASSING!!! the worth possible idea of Thigh Savers I've seen in my life. and best of all , they are non returnable!! I paid $52.80, what an expensive lesson to learn.
· source
- ★★★ One pair ripped the first time I tried them on- and I wasn't being rough or anything. The waistband is very flimsy, so they were falling off of me, even though I ordered the right size. They are really pretty, but I am very disappointed in the quality. The fabric is not very sturdy and I can't even wear them unless I upgrade the waistband myself, or hire someone to do it for me. Extremely disappointing especially considering how expensive they were. I paid roughly $40 per pair, which is insane, but I did get the "sneeze proof" design, so that might be part of the cost. · source
- ★★★★★ I can now give these five stars. In total, I have ordered 16 pairs of the slip shorts. The first batch was the original lace and they all fell apart. They sent me four out of eight replacements, which was better than nothing. Not quite sure why not all of them. I recently ordered and received eight more of the feather lace slip shorts, and they are so much nicer. They are much softer and the waist doesn’t gap. However, it still pains me to pay this much for panties.

· source

- ★★★★ Great leak protection, but a pretty uncomfortable waistband! I'm 5'9", 290 lbs, and the 3XL go up to right below my belly button (see pic). However, the waistband is only an inch of some pretty thick elastic that doesn't have a lot of give, and the material right below it is super thin stretchy material (see pic) so the waistband just digs in no matter what I do! I started using period panties about 6 months ago, and was so happy to stop dealing with my menstrual cup, but on days where I'm super bloated and crampy, these panties make my tummy hurt even worse. I'm disappointed, because I did a lot of research before I settled on this brand and model, and I invested in 6 pairs using FSA money so I can wash them and still have time to air dry them for each day of my period. I'm guessing I'm not the only large woman who carries most of my weight around the middle who has this problem with waistbands. If I size up to 4XL, they won't fit my butt and groin which is the whole purpose of period panties. If they improved the fabric that goes in between the heavy pad below and then extended the waistband down with like 3 inches of a softer more flexible elastic, they would be perfect. It's annoying, because my yoga pants, my leggings, and even my regular underwear ALL have a flexible wide waistband, so I know it's possible despite my body shape! Sigh, I'll have to look for a new type because the extra discomfort of the waistband has officially exceeded the previous hassle of dealing with a menstrual cup. Live and learn. · source
- ★★★ The Thinx For All Leaks Hi-Waist Underwear, Holds up to 100ml or 6tbps or 1/4 Cup Worth of Liquid, Light Absorbency Incontinence Underwear for Women, FSA HSA Approved Feminine Care, Beige were a bit larger than I expected. The sizing chart was very inconsistent, especially in the larger sizes, so it was confusing what size to get. I have period underwear from another company in 2x, and these recommend sizing up, so I got a 3x. They were a little bigger than I would have liked. While they fit, they were not as snug as I typically wear. I was also surprised at how thick the built-in "pad" is given that it's supposed to be designed for small leaks. It seems at least as thick as the period underwear I have from the other brand. With the bulky pad, it does not fade away so you forget you're wearing it, but it is effective for early period days and catching small leaks if you have a weak bladder. The material is extremely soft and feels nice against the skin. The high-waist design is very high and is a bit awkward for a shorter person such as myself. It was hard to find the right spot for it to sit on my body. However, the lace is very pretty and it may not have been an issue if I hadn't sized up. I was a bit surprised there was only one pair in the package. While they seem well-made, other store-bought brands seem to be of decent quality for a much better quality. I'm not sure I'd get another pair. · source

- ★★★ I haven't used this yet bc it showed up the day after my cycle ended. It feels like comfortable material, though, and the crotch isn't very thick like I had feared (I'm a tampon user). The only complaint right now is I got them for emergency or for overnight & I bought them 2 sz larger than what I usually wear bc of the material. I gambled bc that fabric typically runs "tight" or smaller. I was right. It stretches fine, but the waistband is tighter than I had hoped it would be. There's no tummy control, so to speak... Just muffin top. There may be different styles and I just didn't see it. But I definitely wanted this brand bc the little bit of research I did showed that a lot of panties advertised as period panties were actually just thicker lined in case you leaked through your pad or tampon... This brand was the actual period panties for a super flow. I have a cycle every two weeks, & I'll be using it soon...so if the absorbency is great, I'll come back and increase the stars. · source
- ★★★★★ Agony relief, literally. Have an ileostomy right at my belt line. Adding to the problem, there is a lumpy area right at the junction of the soft tissue, thus can never get a good seal. Underwear is a huge culprit of irritation as it rubs the area & loosens the seal exposing the dry tissue to stomach acid. This becomes so irritated to a level 8 - 10 pain level. Underwear with very light top banding as well high full brief is a must to rest above the stoma. Other side issues is the need for very flexible fabric to house the pouch as well banding around the leg to keep it within the underwear. Embarrassing to say but it must hold my male components, not gay nor identifying as a woman or a cross dresser These are a fabulous solution I will likely buy more, my only complaint is I need extra small (ileostomy causes difficulty in gaining weight)
These are truly a huge pain reliever! NEED THIS IN XS & it would be perfect!
PS I also now wear sweats. Very creative person always seeking creative solutions for ileostomy issues. I can be a consultant with this solution as well many other experimental ideas that helped improved life with an ileostomy!
· source

Thank you. · source
- ★★ I have worn Jockey French Cut for many years now. Normally I wear a size 8 and that is what I ordered. I love the soft material and feel but the waiste is huge compared to my other panties. When I compared the my old pair to the new one by placing one on top of the other, there is a 2-inch difference on either side! The new pair is too large. They fit like panties that have had lots of use already and are stretched out. Too bad. I'm going to have to give them to my sister who is a size 10-12. Either mine were mismarked or the pattern for this particular French Cut is not the Jockey standard. I will not risk ordering them on line again.

· source
- ★★★ I’m in between sizes so I got the medium, and they were pretty snug when I first wore them. When they loosened up they began to ease, but then I had to keep messing with the waistband. I also found the lace irritating. If you’ve ever gotten chafed by fishnets, it felt a little like that. I give it 3 stars because I will wear them again, but for me they weren’t worth the price point and not a good fit. · source
- ★★ Sure, there are gorgeous models in the ads with fat curves and thick FLAT fat tummies. Not being shaped enough like a woman must be why the bloomers slide down, and the FIRST hike up popped a thumb through the material, and it didn’t go all the way up to the crotch which kinda negates the purpose. I’m 270lbs, 5’9” and a size 18, so. I don’t know, I’m pretty sure I ordered the right size. · source
Absorbency leak protection
Knix n=186
· source
- ★★★★ These would be perfect if the padding went further back, personally. I use them as backup on heavier days, and on their own on lighter days, and I'd just prefer if the padding was longer to help ensure leaks would have a harder time getting past it. Otherwise, they're super comfortable to be in all day, and they fit true to your normal size in underwear. I really like the high waist v. bikini cut or lower cuts, and these ones have a nice high waist cut. I washed these in cold water and air dried, even though it says you can dry on low, and I'd recommend air drying to be safe. I feel the padding could be affected in the dryer even on low. I'd definitely recommend these. · source
· source
- ★★★★ I’ve had and tried so many different brands of period underwear to know what I really like, and don’t like. On the plus side for this Thinx pair – they’re hip hugging and thereby comfortable for me to wear; the material is very lightweight and breathable which is also fantastic; the crotch isn’t too narrow, which would naturally defeat the entire purpose of this type of underwear, so I appreciate that they’re wider. I wasn’t sure on sizing, so I sized up as precaution which turned out to be unnecessary. That said however, I don’t like that there isn’t any continuing padding up the back for more coverage on your bottom. Wearing these at nighttime, as someone with an incredibly heavy flow, I rely on this kind of period underwear for that extra coverage (and mental security) to prevent accidents in bed. That’s pretty major for me, which is why I *don’t* see myself purchasing more pairs of these…at $37 a pair, they should definitely have more of the absorbent lining than they do, in my personal opinion for the reasons stated. If this aspect isn’t really a concern for you, these may do great for your cycle in that case as they are nice in all other aspects. · source

- ★★★★ Okay, this review is going to get a bit personal... After 3 kids, one with a particularly heinous 21 hour labor, my bladder is shot. It's not constant, but I can't sneeze, jump, or run. I did a 1 mile fun run with my kid, and my bladder leaked in spite of dehydrating myself and using a period pad. I've never been so mortified. It really sucks to have to sit out parts of your life. Unlike the other reviewer, I actually wore these. I initially thought the pad felt thick, but once I put it on, it wasn't any worse than a thin pad. I wore skinny jeans and they were undetectable. I have a bit of a mommy pooch, and the front panel of the panty is tummy flattening. I wasn't expecting to run or jump or sneeze...but lo, I started my period without warning that day. So when I wiped away blood, I thought, "fine, let's see what these panties got." I was expecting to be quite uncomfortable and feel "wet" throughout the day, but hello! These really do wick the moisture away! And no leaks. I really was only reminded that I was on my period when I used the bathroom throughout the day. The crotch is black, so staining isn't an issue. I use pantiliners daily - I could save the earth using these... But alas, the con is the price. I would swich over to these in a heartbeat so that I wouldn't have to "plan" around my underwear, but 10 pairs of these would be close to a car payment. Yes, you can use FSA and HSA, but that's only helpful if you don't need that money for other expenses (we do), and that still doesn't justify the price.
· source
- ★★★★★ I have to say that I was not sure what to expect with these panties. I have had them before, but they creep up and are hard to pull up at times. HOW THIS COMES This set of panties comes in a small plastic bag. There are instructions. USES These are only recommended for 30 uses before having to be thrown away and replaced PANTIES These are stretch fabric similar to wearing a single layer bathing suit bottom. The elastic is thin and flat. COMFORT These do stay put better than others I have worn. They don't ride up and are comfortable- I forget I have them on. USE I only got these while I am recovering from an injury. This injury causeses me great pain and in ability to walk without two canes for now. That means I can not always make it to the bathroon on time. These pants are perfect for this. I don't have them flooded with urine constantly so I can not comment on that. I can say that it gives me a lot more confidence especially when having to go somewhere in case I have a small issue. THE BOTTOM LINE These are really nice. I usually prefer cotton or natural underwear, but in this case, it is a good alternative as long as I don't wear them daily. I need to break from synthetics. MY RATING FIVE STARS. These are nice, but not as breathable as I would like for daily wear. Thankfully I don't need them for daily wear. As for the 30 use only, that isn't very long if you need them daily for accidents. Consider that with the price. · source

- ★ So, I was thrilled to try these. I had another pair by another brand and let's just say the material left a lot to be desired. I saw this *apparent* 3 pack and purchased it. Now, let us keep in mind that the listing has no mention of quantity, and the MAIN IMAGE for the listing is 3 pair of underwear...upon re-reading the title of the listing, it in no way states you would get less than the three pictured pairs. The detailed description also does not indicate that you would be getting anything other than the 3 pair referenced in the main photo. Fast forward to the order arriving and WHAT?! only ONE pair. ONE pair for THIRTY DOLLARS. Made nicely. Fabric is much better than other brands I've tried. I suppose if you're fine with putting up with the obvious bait and switch going on here that they may be fine...nice even. Take the 3-pack photo down and there'd be no problem.
· source

- ★ I have been purchasing Vanishing Edge panties for more than 10 years, in fact, I believe the first I purchased was in 2008 or 2009. They were an amazing product, held up exceptionally well, and lasted wash after wash. The past couple of years, they have become ridiculously cheap quality, the fabric is insanely thin, and the craftsmanship is poor at best, all while the price has increased substantially. My recent online purchase was delivered at the end of October. I was traveling for work, just returned, opened the panties, tossed them in the lingerie bag and into the washing machine. Literally 3 of the brand new pairs frayed at the seam. The same thing happened with my in-store purchase back at the end of July/beginning of August. This is incredibly frustrating as well as disappointing - frustrating because it is a waste of money, disappointing because for over a decade I have loved Vanishing Edge panties, but now have to figure out a comparable option from a company that offers a higher quality product. I will never understand why a company chooses to kill an amazing product.

· source
- ★★★★ Cute, love the cut and fabric but I’m pretty surprised that these are see through. For $27, I expect them to be opaque. You can see my butt in the back. I wore a thong to try one on and it was so sheer, you could see the entire thong. The size I bought fits perfect pretty much everywhere, but the waist is a tad tight and I’m on the small end of the size I bought based on their size chart. Which is weird to me. I think if I had size up they would have been saggy. They don’t slip down under my belly like other brands do so I guess that’s a plus, just wish the waist wasn’t tight.

· source
- ★★★ Update9/7/23. The last few times I’ve ordered these Bali panties I have received some that tear away from the elastic at the leg. This time this pair tore after one wearing and two washings. They aren’t sewn properly at the leg opening and I am aggravated at wasting my money on underwear that I throw away after two or a few washes. I like them otherwise, just sloppy sewing that will have me looking for a different style or maybe on another website. I like the fit of these panties and the amount of stretch you get with the spandex in them. They are cool and comfortable. I've worn these for a couple of years now and my only complaint is that the elastic in the waistline rolls after a few wearings and washings. However, it isn't uncomfortable and these fit so well and feel so good on, that I can live with a little roll of the elastic. · source

· source

- ★★ I'm 5'0" tall, 40 years old and moderately fit. I had a c-section 6 years ago and the mom belly is still hanging out (literally). I thought it was time to try out "old lady undies". I didn't want "special occasion" undies. You know the kind you only use for a wedding or fancy dinner and you want to look slim - but there's no way you could wear them everyday and digest normally.
I wanted something comfortably slimming. A pair I could wear everyday with a bit more belly control then let's say a pair of Me Undies - but is still classy/cute. Well... these weren't exactly what I hoped for.
"Vanishing tummy" is a misleading name for these. It doesn't hide much. The material is rather thin and although it is double paneled, it still doesn't give you much of a hold or smoothing effect.
The back side is higher than the front side. This might be more a me thing, but it kind of made me look even older than I anticipated.
I'm between sizes according to the size chart and I went with a Large rather than Med. Who knows if maybe the Med would have been a better fit, but this just didn't smooth anything that needed smoothing. If you're also between sizes and truly want a pair, maybe just go smaller?
The rubber grip on the legs does it's job, BUT I got a gnarly rash. Maybe I have sensitive skin, but where the rubber touches skin, the skin doesn't breathe and when I sweat, it created a terrible rash.
Lastly, it would be nice if we started getting more photos of real women - with bellies. Yanno, women that might actually need to wear belly control undies. These very fit models aren't really helping with envisioning what I might be looking for.
Anyway, I thought I was taking advantage of a buy 3 get 3 free deal and bought like 12 pairs. LOOOL. Go big or go home I guess. Jokes on me... now I have a drawer full of these and I have no desire to wear them.

· source
- ★★ I have had softer, less bulky cotton briefs that I found much more comfortable than these. These are what I would call "industrial grade." Overall fit: Bulky, over-the-navel, but not too bad. They are not slimming and can not be worn under my form-fitting pants or jeans - Just too much bulk. So, I wear them with sweats or baggy pants. As long as I am standing and not moving, they are fine. But as soon as I change positions, I can feel the leg bands pinching and pulling, actually cutting off my circulation - Not kidding. Don't try to sit down and relax wearing these. It is simply not possible! That said, if you don't mind any of those problems then buy them, because they wear like steel and will likely last forever even if you do not! Suggestion to manufacturer: Put some "give" in the leg bands. · source

- ★★★ 🍃These panties are true to size, fit comfortably, and provide protection from leaks. HOWEVER:: My concern was hearing about potential health effects wearing this type of fabric close to the body, and particularly in those sensitive areas…PFAS is found in many items we use, so we do have this exposure in many places:: unbeknownst to us!!! GOOGLE. There was a recent lawsuit citing that this company claimed they used organic fabric..On the contrary, the court filing cites lab testing by the plaintiff that found the PFAS “above trace amount” and argues that the underwear is not organic, despite packaging saying it is. The complaint alleges that the underwear also contains metal nanoparticles, which are used to deodorize clothing and can easily enter the body. (January 2023). There are other panties out there and I wonder if this exposure is inherent (not just with this brand) (but with all panties on the market) with this type of fabric?? ($39.00 at the time of this review) is quite pricey for one pair that also carries a potential health exposure. The jury is still out and I am hesitant…and wear them sparingly, when/if really needed should the situation arise. 🤷♀️ · source
- ★★★ Even at a 3X, a full size larger than I normally wear, I found these uncomfortably tight, especially in the bikini lines. I'm sure it has to be tighter than normal underwear to avoid leaks, but I like a snug fit usually and these were almost too much for me. I try to save these ones for nighttime only, they're so uncomfortable to move around in the day. They're also SO tall, but because they're so tight, they don't make it over my belly, so I have to wear it under. UGH. Cleaning these was relatively easy. I did find that I have to rinse them immediately after stopping wearing them. Cold water and hydrogen peroxide until they run clean, and then I hang them up to drip dry until I'm ready to do laundry. When I tried to just throw them in the wash without rinsing first, they dried out while waiting for laundry day and then didn't get wholly clean. The rinse and peroxide has prevented any odors so far and I've used them for two cycles already. Would not order these again, but I will be trying other period underwear, something with a higher cotton percentage this time. · source
- ★ First, the listing described them as briefs but they are high waisted. Then the material they are made of is very thin, cheap feeling, and not very soft. I can't imagine they would be comfortable or durable. The listing states they will last up to 12 hours and absorb up to 12 tampons, but there is absolutely no way! The waterproof layer is very noisy and crinkly. The crotch is so narrow that it doesn't even give as much coverage as a disposable pad and the absorbent section only gives 12 inches of coverage front to back. I got these for my teen because her older sister had a couple pairs of this brand that were great. The quality of these doesn't even compare. The high waist would go halfway to her armpits. Complete unacceptable and will be going back immediately. I don't think I will be purchasing Thinx brand again. · source

- ★ These are probably ok for small bladder leaks but not ok for period protection. I bought the super because well that's what I need. They didn't hold up even on a light day. The proection area does not go up high enough in the back or front. After reading the reviews I bought a XXL. Sizing up was not necessary so I then bought the 3 pack of XL. · source
- ★★★ I was hoping to like these, since I ordered them for bladder leaks. That's right, I ordered them for those little annoying leaks that happen when you sneeze, lift something heavy, or get up wrong. Kinda tired of changing my underwear and hoping the leak didn't make it to my pants. And wearing pads every day isn't feasible, especially since the leak sometimes misses the pad due to the position I'm in. Anyhow, the moisture wicking worked well and the butt was comfortable. My only issue was the waistband. I have a very soft waist. This waistband cuts into that in the most uncomfortable way. Even when I was thin, I had issues with waistbands in underwear. I cannot stand a tight waistband in my underwear. It's a big enough issue that enough women have complained about consistently that no modernly produced underwear should have tight waists. But, for some reason, the manufacturers don't care. I thought Thinx would since they're sensitive about the sustainable period products issue, but nope. Tight waist, don't care. Hint: We all mostly have low hip to waist ratios. Think 30" waist with 36" hips. But why is underwear made with 30" waists and 48" hips. It makes no sense. We're not Disney princesses. We're real women with real bodies. Cater to it. · source

I would return them but I have worn one pair for a few hours to see if they would be comfortable. Unfortunately not comfortable to me. - ★★★★ These do great at - having no panty line - reaching above even my bulbous booty to sit at the waist (rather than creating muffin top) and staying up even doing yoga and other weird movement - NO WEDGIES But the disadvantage this type has is a vertical seam at each side, from leg hole to waist. It doesn't show through pants but bites into the skin (like the most annoying t-shirt size tag, x10). It even leaves red marks! They provide a smooth look through pants and are sexy when the pants are off, but for everyday comfort I will stick to "granny panties". Oh re size, it is wild. I have 45" hips, 36" waist, generally I'm a 16 or XL. So I was skeptical about fitting a 7, but they really do fit perfectly! - ★★ I bought these with high hopes, because I hate thongs (my unpopular opinion); but sadly I’m not in love. I thought I was when I tried them on, but after wearing I just can’t give them the best review. Every seam is so bulky it makes my skin sore when I wear them. And although they do hide decent under leggings when very thoroughly placed in the perfect position…..I don’t have the ability to do that every time I stand up or move around in public, so they then get a wrinkle in them and it shows through and is incredibly obvious. I got the medium originally, which I think fit better through the waist, but they were SO baggy in my butt it looked like I had a poopy diaper. So I got the small, and that was better. I am 5’4” and 140lbs, athletic shape with a little thicker butt and thighs, just for reference. The only reason I gave an extra star is because they have AMAZING customer service. I just couldn’t send them back this time due to tags being removed and worn (which is how I found out I didn’t love them). · source
- ★★★ These are my fav undies, however quality is not consistent. I bought the five pack and tried them on as soon as they arrived. They felt fine for the 2 seconds I had them on & so I ran them through a cold water wash. After wearing them all day, I can see (& feel) that they are not all created equal. The lace doesn't consistently lie flat and they seem to have shrunk slightly. They were slightly uncomfortable, being a bit too tight and seems the lace top and panty fabric don't stretch in same proportions. I'm average size, average build (5'4", 125 lbs) and buy the large. (I think the XL would be too big.) Disappointed, as they used to be my all time fav and these are not inexpensive. But once washing & wearing I don't feel comfortable trying to return these. In the past I would've recommended these panties as the most comfortable ever but no so much anymore. · source
- ★★ I am literally a size 2 with a small rear and thighs (that I wish were shaplier!). Yet the size small barely gives me enough coverage, and though the elastic leg holes don't hurt, they would if I was any larger as they are too tight. Most importantly, I wear this style in other brands so they won't show any VPL and these are the exact opposite because of the way they dig in. The fabric also feels cheap and is nearly transparent. I have only washed them once (in cold water, delicate cycle) and the lace looks like it is about to unravel. I tried a couple of other styles and sizes from Soma and felt similarly. The medium was a better fit (for a size 2!) and the issue with cheap material and leg holes is the same across styles. · source
- ★★★★ After loving my two pairs of Her Highness briefs, I wanted to try these Pantyloons for under my dresses. As a curvy size 14 with juicy thighs, I found them uncomfortable and cutting. (I had ordered an XL.) And they started to tear the first time I put them on! My customer service was exemplary though. A replacement pair of briefs were sent in their stead. Perhaps just size up? · source
- ★ the bloomers were cute but did not fit as assured. I will be returning the pair I didn't try on. Waist is very uncomfortable and pinches. For the money, Wacol is much more what I look for in high end lingerie. 38.00 for these? No. I am out almost 40.00 plus shipping. Lesson learned · source

· source
- ★★★★ These Bali panties are either made by Wirarpa, or the reverse. I got seven pair of the Bali. In the Bali labeled packages there were Bali labeled panties that had Wirarpa labels inside the panties. They were also different styles, but close enough to be mixed up. I had also ordered the Wirarpa brand and still had seven pair of those, along with two pair in the Bali group. The packers are not to blame for this, they chose the right labels. It was labeled at the factory, leading me to believe they must be made by the same company. I have no idea what to tell anyone as to what to do with this info. The Bali doesn't creep up my cheeks. The Wirarpa has a nice covered waistband. The Wirarpa has thicker fabric, the Bali is thinner. I now have 5 Bali and 9 Wirarpa. Don't worry Amazon, I'm not returning anything. · source

- ★★ I had a $50 gift card for my birthday and used the "by 3 get 2 free deal" I received 3 panties and an email that said sorry item unavailable for the others. I called and waited 10 min to get someone. I spoke with a lady who I had a hard time understanding (clearly a callcenetr very loud in background). She kept telling me " I wasn't charged" I told her I used a gift card and my request was that another 2 free panties be sent, since I am not receiving 2 and I don't care what color. She put me on hold 3 times and still did not seem to get it. I did not care about color but that my 2 other panties were cancelled so I wanted to replace the with another 2 pairs. She said again I was not charged I mentioned again it was a gift card plus i had to pay a bit extra and shipping and that I bought 5 panties but only received 3. I asked to speak to a manager please and she put me on hold for the 4th time. Someone picked up and then hung up on me. I was on the phone for 35 minutes. It should have been simple I bought 3 and got 2 free. I only received 3 and am owed 2 panties. I will NEVER order online again. The store is more helpful.
Update: I called and pressed "1" the "to order" and got a helpful courteous women "Angie" she quickly tried to replace my item but was a problem because they marked the free as the one i did not received "so was not charged". Eventually had to talk with supervisor who was helpful and finally sent me another pair (my original request) All and all took up literally an hour. I will drive to store next time if I have a gift card, would have taken less time and I would not have had to pay shipping. · source
- ★★★ I love these panties. I have used them for years without any complaint. Typically I can go into a store to make a purchase as needed but our store recently closed so I ordered my panties online this time. I usually buy an assortment of nude and black panties with a few colored ones as well. I have used the nude color for many years and have been very happy with the color against my skin tone. The color displayed (Warm Amber) is similar to what I currently have. The color that came is much darker. It's not even close to the shades I have from years past.
Also, the Paloma Glow and Peach Flora are much darker and look orange in person. They're not the soft peachy tones you see in the pictures. It's a bummer. I really hope Soma can work out the color discrepancies. I recognize colors vary on computers but this is not a slight variation. It's a drastic difference. · source

- ★★★ Gusset: I don't know about others, but occasionally my panty gusset inadvertently gets stained. Otherwise, this particular brand/style lasts me over a decade. Yes, I still have some, perfectly good, and over a decade old. But if the gusset gets stained, then they are not preferred anymore. The other print one I bought, and one from the past, also have white gussets. Perhaps that is standard for the patterned ones. I'm strictly buying solid colors for the colored-matched gussets from here on. Construction: This brand/style is my go-to panty which I have appreciated for many years. It's what I'll reach for first every time. The thin elastic band tucks under the butt better than the vast majority of other panties. I'll concede however, that that thin elastic can cut into the groin just a bit, especially if they are new. Still, these are my fave. Return Experience: I'm returning the two patterned ones, and keeping the two solid color ones. No option to use a QR code, and I'm not happy that I have to print my own label, as not having a printer makes it a hassle. Value: Note that they have a tag that says 3 for $30, while they are sold here for $11,50 each. Well, the shipping is free for me, so it evens out. And considering the longevity, these have a huge value. · source

- ★★★★ I wear period underwear for a few days every month but I don't typically have incontinence issues. However, I do have an excruciatingly long flight coming up so I wanted something that could work as emergency backup just in case the line for the tiny airplane bathroom gets too long. At the risk of TMI, I gave these a test run by standing in the bathtub and willing myself to pee on command. Which is surprisingly hard to do actually. In any case, they held up just fine to what I'm guessing was a few tablespoons of wetness with no wet feeling on either side of the cloth. I went by their size chart and ended up ordering two sizes larger than I typically wear in anything. They sorta fit but are looser than I'd prefer so I'd size down if I ordered again. They're also extremely long from crotch to waist and I find the lace itchy but since I probably won't wear these outside of a few instances, I'm not too bothered by it. Overall, they seem well made and not uncomfortable to wear.

· source

If you show 3 pairs of the same product then that is what people expect. I read the product detail over 3 times and didn't see where only one item was included in package. They fit to good to send back. · source
- ★★★★ I love these leak proof underwear, but I recently purchased and wore a pair while traveling through the Atlanta airport. I got pulled because my"groin" and buttocks (exactly where the gusset is located) lit up on the security screen. I was pulled for a very thorough part down. Fortunately, it didn't prompt a cavity search after I explained to the TSA agent I had on old lady underwear which I think she could feel through her pat down. I'm not sure what is in the gusset to cause this, but you may not want to wear them while going through TSA. Unless you want a special massage... 😂 · source
- ★★ First, you only get 1 pair so they should update that. Second, I'm not sure what the hype is about. I purchased these to help with leaks. I wear pads. I've never cared for tampons so I was hoping these would help on heavy days with the overflow. They won't. The area in the panties that's supposed to absorb is completely covered with a pad. At night when I'm side sleeping it flows out the back. These don't even cover as much as my pad! It goes way up in the front though. I've never had an issue with a leak in the front, lol. I can't see paying $30 for this pair of panties. · source

· source
- ★★★ I started wearing these retro panties a year or so ago. They resemble granny panties and they never come in fun colors, but under a dress, they were great - no waistline mark and no panty lines. I recently purchased 5 more pairs, and like they have for many different styles in the past, Soma has changed this panty. The waistband is different, cuts and is not as comfortable, and is visible. I don’t understand why the designers at Soma continue to change panties, especially when they have great ratings to begin with. If it is a cost issue, I would gladly pay an extra dollar or two more for the original design then have 5 new pairs of panties that I don’t like. I feel like Soma is taking advantage of loyal customers. · source
- ★★ One year ago the lace that was attached to the top of he Embraceable line was flexible and non binding. The current lace causes the undead to roll down when I move and does not remain in place as before. I had to give away 12 pairs of these underwear. The sad thing is I bought these in size Med. when I weighed 185 lbs and they fit perfect so much so that I bought another 24 pairs (that’s how much I liked them) and threw out all other underwear brands that I owned. The sad thing is I lost 25 lbs and I am now 160lbs and the waist of these new version STILL ROLLS DOWN . I am extremely disappointed. I will have to find another brand now. I can’t even go a size up because then they sag on my rear. . NOT HAPPY!!!!

· source
- ★★★ This is the fifth set of menstrual/incontinence undergarments I have tested; these are my least favorite of five, but this is partially personal preference and partially fit. The Thinx For All Leaks Hip-Hugger Underwear runs true to size. I have a 36" waist and ordered the XXL. They fit adequately, but like many XXL women I have a tummy, and the waistband is just a little low and slips down over time, eventually tucking itself under my little pocket of flab. The Thinx For All Leaks Hip-Hugger Underwear is fairly silky, sort of rayon-polyester feel. Consequently, they are quite thin, so that the stiff crotch insert is really uncomfortable and distracting when dry. These did not leak while I wore them, but I did find the extra bulge from liquid even more unpleasant. I have so far preferred thicker menstrual and incontinence undergarments, with less distracting edges for the absorbent sections, so if you like the super-thin ones this might be right for you. It's not right at all for me.

· source
- ★★ I’ve loved this brand and style for years - especially because of the center back seam, which defines my behind as having 2 cheeks, not just 1 great big one. BUT, the sewing quality has really declined. That defining back center seam may well be OFF-center, so not following the shape of the body, and the stitching at the crotch is a rather flimsy chain stitch that has the thread ends not locked off. If you use adhesive pads and they stick on a thread end …. the stitching may be completely pulled out. The stitching may also come loose just in the laundry, as a brand new pair did for me on the wash prior to the first wearing, even though they were in a lingerie bag! · source

· source
- ★★★ I found these in my quest for no VPL undies to go with a dress for my son’s wedding. I bought several different pairs from several different brands. These are super comfy, thin, stretchy and stay in place all day. I’m actually amazed at how I never once had to yank them back into position, pretty dang impressive. But the “no show” claim is false, they very much do show lines at the legs. They aren’t too small, I always buy undies a size larger, but that thin little elastic definitely leaves a line. They are fine with jeans but they don’t work with leggings or a body hugging dress/skirt unless your top is long enough to cover your bum completely. I will wear them, might even order more, but I went with Wacoal at ease panties for the dress, their bonded leg openings are truly no show.

· source
- ★★★★ The bralette is well made, easy to put on, comfortable, and very attractive. No having to reach behind one’s back to put a bra on is so good! The reason for a 4-star rating is that I wish the bra had a bit more support—on the sides and under the cups. I have other bralettes that do this a bit better, but they are not a comfortable. I like the full coverage under the arms and towards the back. I LOVE the underwear. · source
- ★★★★ These panties are my new no-panty-line go-to resource. Smooth and comfortable, even without elastic at the legs, they never ride up. I do want to request that Bloomers stitch down the gusset at the front, as they do on the sides and in the back. This makes hand laundering much easier and protects the gusset from stretching when I remove a panty liner. · source
